Silvio Zuccarelli was born in southern Italy. He moved to the United States when he was 10 years old in 1972. After staying two months in New York, his family moved to South Florida.
While he grew up in the restaurant business and worked at his brothers’ pizzeria, in 12th grade, while taking an elective bookkeeping class, he realized that accounting was his desire. He pursued this profession throughout college.
Silvio graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1986. While attending USF, Silvio would work part-time at Louis Mamo & Company during the summer. Once college was complete, he took a full-time job and has become an integral part of Louis Mamo & Company.
Silvio obtained his Enrolled Agent license in 1996 that allows him to represent any taxpayer before the IRS. He has also been a QuickBooks Professional Advisor since 1999. Since moving to the United States, Silvio has always kept up with his native language at home.
