Scott Philip Santodonato’s impressive career has taken him in many directions. Santodonato was born in Oneonta, New York and grew up in New York State and Michigan, but now calls Las Vegas home. His creativity and passion for the arts evolved at an early age. At the young age of three he starting playing piano and guitar, recording his first single at the age of seven, and performing his first professional show at the age of twelve.
Santodonato went on to engineer and mix recording sessions for numerous major label artists such as: Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker, Jon Bon Jovi, The Corrs, Sponge, David Crosby, Tragically Hip, Travis Tritt, Verve Pipe, Parliament Funkadelic, and Martha Reeves. He created hundreds of successful jingles for companies such as: GM, Ford, HBO, ABC, Dodge, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Little Caesars, and toured as a musician extensively in the United States, Canada, and Europe with several bands as a vocalist, guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and drummer. (The bands toured with the likes of: The Eurythmics, The Romantics, Kid Rock, Insane Clown Posse, Joan Jett, Concrete Blonde, Verve Pipe, Bad Company, Night Ranger, Cyndi Lauper, and The Tubes.
Santodonato still owns and operates an Independent Record label Overcore which has promoted and released albums for artists, nationally distributed through TVT Records. Overcore has released more than 15 albums that charted on Billboard’s Independent chart, as well as 3 albums which hit Billboard’s top 200 albums chart. While running Overcore he began to flex more of his creativity by photographing many of the label’s artists, and helping to design album layouts and artist logos.
