What your business needs to know about the government’s new forgivable loan program
Small business owners were told that on Friday, April 3rd, they would be able to apply for a new, forgivable loan to help keep their businesses afloat during the coronavirus crisis. Nearly $350 billion has been allocated for that purpose in the new economic aid package signed into law last week. But most lenders were not be able to start processing loans on Friday because it was just Thursday evening that the Treasury and Small Business Administration put out some of the critical guidance lenders need. Coronavirus small business relief: Comparing the two main loan programs
The The U.S. government is working with lawmakers to provide relief to small businesses, many of which have been forced to close their doors as a result of coronavirus-related protections that have been put into place.
