Valeria Bermudez

Administrative Assistant

I grew up in Queens, New York, and relocated to South Florida with my parents after graduating High School. I graduated from Kaplan University with an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.

In 2005, after becoming a mother of twin girls; I began work at Lustig & Associates P.A. a Law Firm in Fort Lauderdale as an Administrative Assistant where I grew interest in the legal field. To further my interest in Law, I matriculated at Kaplan University for my Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. After working for the firm for 3 years; a great opportunity came along and I was proud to join the Broward County Bar Association were I became the Lawyer Referral Coordinator. During the 5 years of working for the Bar Association, I am proud of creating the Low Cost Program to help the community which consists on low cost legal and pro-bono services for low income families, with the alliance of Legal Aid and the Young Lawyers Section. Also during my journey with the Bar, I had the opportunity and pleasure of participating in the Broward County Judicial Judges Robbing ceremonies.

Today, I’m proud of being part of Louis Mamo & Co. as an Administrative Assistant were I’m able to provide my professionalism to all our clients and our in-house accountants for outstanding accounting services.
